So an active hour usually covers 2–3 h of work in Studio (approximate, depending on how you work); what's included is each plan's active hours. If it runs out, your site, Design, Cortex and Code keep working: only the preview pauses and, if you want, you go on with credits (about 250 per active hour). Nothing is ever charged unless you choose it.

Do I need a card to start?
No. Sign up, create your first site and publish it for free. You pay when you want your own domain, real payments, more sites online or more credits.
What if I run out of credits?
Your site stays online and you can keep editing it by hand in Studio. Cortex is back when your credits renew, or at once with a pack.
How does the yearly plan work?
You pay for 10 months and get 12. Your credits renew every month, just like the monthly plan.
Is a domain included?
Connecting your own domain comes with any paid plan, from Hobby; on Free your site is published at its berse.site address. The domain itself is bought from your registrar (about $10–15 a year).
Is there a limit on live preview?
Live preview shows your site really running on a machine of its own, and only active time counts. Design never uses it; reading your site, talking to Cortex, Code mode and going back to pages you've seen don't wake it, and it pauses by itself 45 s after use (the page stays on screen). So an active hour usually covers 2–3 h of work in Studio, depending on how you work. Each paid plan includes active hours a month, with a daily maximum: Hobby 10 h (2 h/day), Starter 20 h (3 h/day), Pro 40 h (5 h/day) and Business 80 h (8 h/day); Free, 15 minutes a day (with a confirmed email). Studio shows what's left when you get close to the limit. If it runs out, your site, Design, Cortex and Code keep working: only the preview pauses and you choose whether to go on with credits (about 250 per active hour) until it renews. Nothing is ever charged unless you choose it.
Does Berse take a cut of my sales?
No. Payments go to your own Stripe account; you only pay Stripe's fees.
Can I build sites for my clients?
Yes. Invite them to their project to edit or just view, and set aside credits for each one without them seeing your balance.
Do I get invoices?
Yes, every payment has its invoice under “Manage subscription and invoices”, in Usage & credits.
